Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz
Sub Region: Jerusaem Hills
Bottle Size: 750ml
Characteristics: Big, Rich
Tasting Notes: Psagot Sinai is a refreshing, fruity and beautifully balanced wine. Nose: warm stone, black currant, blackberries. Slight iodine. Saline. Celery. Palate: Medium plus body, very smooth and integrated tannins. Bright acidity. Slight alcoholic bite, but not offensive. Wet dirt, bell pepper. Slight smoke. Dark cherries, saline and iodine. This is more about dark, earthy flavors that fruit. The bright acidity keeps it tasting fresh nevertheless. Finish: the acidity stays strong, keeps the cherries alive and introduces a bit of orange citrus.
Food Pairing: flavorful meats, fish and roasted or herb-baked chicken
